How to Enroll

at PHCSE

Open enrollment allows families to submit their applications at any time. The lottery for new enrollments is held in February and families are notified of the results shortly after.

Enrollment FAQs

  • Who can attend the Penn Hills Charter School of Entrepreneurship?

    Students from all School Districts are welcome to attend. However, preference is given to siblings of currently enrolled students and Penn Hills School District residents.


  • Do you have a new student lottery?

    If student applications exceed the number of available seats in a grade level, a lottery will be conducted for that grade. Any students not receiving a seat will be placed on the wait list by the date of application.

  • What is the deadline for applications?

    New student applications are accepted beginning on November 1st .


  • How will I know if my child has been accepted?

    Families will be notified of acceptance in their SchoolMint account.


  • What happens if a grade level reaches capacity?

    When a grade level reaches capacity, each additional application will be added to the wait list.
